The increasing of the scientific research output represents one of the main strategic objectives of Epoka University, highlighted in the University Framework Strategic Plan 2018-2022. In line with this strategy, the University has created favorable conditions and promotion mechanisms for scientific and research activities, encouraging and supporting the academic staff in achieving competitive results at national and international level and finally rewarding them within the resources and instruments available to the institution.
In this context, for the 2017-2018 academic year, the Publication Commission, established based on the provision of the Regulation “On Publications” has evaluated the list of publications of the academic and assisting academic staff members of Epoka University, based on the list submitted by each Decanate. The evaluation has been completed pursuant to the provisions of the Regulation “On Scientific Research” and the Directive “On the Promotion of Scientific Publications”.
Epoka University is pleased to note that during the 2017-2018 academic year, there has been a notable increase in the number of articles published by our academic staff members in journals indexed in Thomson Reuters and Scopus.
Considering dissemination an important part of the research process, the University seeks to promote the dissemination of research findings in a manner consistent with the regulations and authorship rules in force.
