Gul, the President of Turkey visits “Epoka” University
The Turkish president, Abdullah Gul visited Epoka University in Tirana. During his speech, besides thanking for the hospitality, Mr. Gul pointed that he felt home. According to his opinion both of the two countries have a common historical inheritance which favors their excellent collaboration. “I thank everyone who has contributed in the opening of the Turkish colleges in Albania” pointed out Gul additionally saying that the students are the connection bridge to the further improvement of the collaboration of the two nations. Through the machinery remote control, president Gul initiated the groundbreaking of the new Campus of Epoka University, which will occupy an area of 60 hectare close to Mother Theresa Airport. The ceremony was held in Turgut Özal College and the live chronics were broadcasted on Ora News television.
