Board Members and students of "Women's Leadership" Club, on December 10, 2013 participated in a panel discussion organized by the Association for Women in Social Problems, which during November 25 until December 10, 2013 organized the 16 days campaign of activism against gender-based violence. The panel discussion was organized by the Executive Director, Bajana Ceveli, in cooperation with the Durres district.
The 16-day campaign of activism against gender-based violence 25 November - 10 December 2013, is a new initiative to help battered and abused women. During the discussion, participants emphasized the fact the lack of a discussion and response to violence of women affects its growth. Responding to a negative phenomena and raising the voice against the problems that faced this issue, involvement in all initiatives against violence against women were the main issues discussed by the participants in this panel.
Board members of Women’s Leadership Club were part of the discussion by giving their ideas and contribution and how these phenomena can be minimized. They also appreciated the initiative and their work in support of such projects.
