Two Students from Epoka University Participated in Euroatlantism School in Montenegro

November 30th, -0001

Two third-year students from Epoka University participated in the Euroatlantism School, which took place from the 7th to the 11th of November 2011 in the city of Bar, Montenegro.

Respectively Murat Kodaz and Kamil Arli, both students of Political Science and International Relations and Xhafer Rakipllari, lecturer at this Department were part of this School, which focused on “Nato and Globalization” and was organized by Donja Gorica University.

The EuroAtlantism School brings together each year more than 50 students and academicians from the Balkan countries. The School provides an enjoyable academic exercise that encourages students to both find collective solutions to regional problems as well as to view problems from multiple perspectives while fostering inter-cultural understanding.

Epoka University is confident that beyond its direct value to raising awareness about regional and international issues, these kinds of activities provide students with the opportunity to develop their extra-curricular skills: research and coherent formulation of ideas, conflict resolution, public speaking and negotiation.
