Families of academic and administrative staff at Epoka University organized on October 29, 2013 the Traditional Food Fair, which has now become a tradition organized at our university. The Traditional Food Fair was organized at the main entrance of Epoka University and was supported by students from various departments, offering their contribution buying the exposed traditional foods, in solidarity toward the people in need.
The main purpose of this event was to collect funds for the orphan children and people in need. This initiative was supported by Epoka University staff and students. They helped the organizers maximize the profit by buying various food products. This activity was an excellent way as well, to bring students from different backgrounds together in order to raise their awareness and solidarity.
Traditional Fair Food activities are diverse events organized by Epoka University clubs, administrative and academic staff, which aim at giving the message that there is always something for everyone. This attractive occurrence created firstly a very joyful environment at Epoka University and promoted many traditional foods from different regions of Turkish.
On December 2012, “Conflict Resolution” Club in association with “Leadership’s Women” Club at Epoka University, organized also the Traditional Food Fair. Students from various departments offered their contribution by cooking traditional foods and selling them in the established stands.
