"The Symphony of Life 7": I am hope

“I am hope” was the motto of the seventh edition of the artistic program “Symphony of Life” organized on Tuesday evening by Cultural Center New Horizons in collaboration with Turkish Colleges and Epoka University. The annual gala concert dedicated to the figure of woman this year took another dimension, turning into an initiative to help women without family support housed at the National Center for Treatment of Victims of Domestic Violence.
The seventh edition of the program conducted with the support of the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth joined in the Theatre of Opera and Ballet Hall prominent figures of the fields of art, media, culture, politics and business. Under the moderation of Valbona Selmanllari for about 1 hour and 15 minutes artists well known artists like  Aurela Gace, Alban Skenderaj, Marsela Çibukaj, Ana Kacinari, Reshat Arbana and others performed on TKOB stage different artistic parts and conveyed messages of hope to attendees.
The program started with the song of the great Whitney Houston "When you believe", to be followed by Artistic Lyceum of Jordan Misja choral choir, instrumental pieces in piano and violin, poems by the acclaimed actor Reshat Arbana and songs selected from the repertoire of the participating singers.
Within the evaluation of the contribution made to society, this year organizers awarded Mrs. Linda Spahiu with the "Golden Rose" prize for her contribution to the preservation and restoration of cultural heritage. During her speech Mrs. Spahiu expressed concern about the care of cultural heritage values and praised the work of the organizers in this regard. While the Minister Ermonela Felaj, invited to deliver this award to Mrs. Linda Spahiu thanked her for this great job and praised the organizers for the realization of such programs.
While the special prize of this edition “I am hope” was give to “Hope” club of Turgut Ozal College and to student clubs of Epoka University for their help given to communities in need and participation in social initiatives like blood donation, city cleaning, recycling, book donations, etc. Being invited to submit the prices Tirana Deputy Andi Seferi and the minister Blendi Klosi praised the work of the youth educated in these institutions as a guarantee for the future.
The concert served simultaneously as a call against violence of any kind by inviting people to become hope for each other. Initiation "I am hope" will continue further until the fulfillment of the objectives set. While March in New Horizons also will add another activity dedicated to women. Fom 21 to 31 March this cultural center will launch a photo exhibition of Albanian women over the years in the premises of the center TEN in "Myslym Shyri".
