On October 11, 2013, the Swedish delegation headed by the Director General for the Swedish Council of Higher Education Mr. Ulf Melin, accompanied by Ms. Rebecka Herdevall, Ms. Anneli Linberg Programme Officers at the Swedish Council for Higher Education and a group of academicians from different Universities in Sweden visited the premises of Epoka University. The aim of this meeting was the discussion of new collaboration opportunities such as joint projects, joint programmes and exchange programs between the institutions in Sweden and Epoka University.
After a general introduction of the respective institutions, the parties discussed at departmental level potential projects in specific areas such as architecture, business administration and computer science. The said projects can be developed in the framework of the new EU programme, Erasmus+ which is expected to give the opportunity to Albania to participate as partner as well as in the context of Linnaeus-Palme, a Swedish exchange programme.
At the same time, Ms. Herdevall and Ms. Linberg presented to all the staff at Epoka University the new opportunities under the Erasmus+ and Linnaeus-Palme programme.
