November 5th, 2015
The Head of Research and Projects Office, Ms. Diturije Ismaili and the Head of International Relations Office, Ms. Alba Gerdeci participated at the Joint Nordic-Baltic-Western Balkans Erasmus+ contact seminar, held in Prishtina on November 5, 2015.
The aim of the contact seminar was to enhance higher education cooperation between the participating countries; the need for such an event has risen especially from the results of the first round of applications in Credit Mobility and the unused funding for IPA countries. During the seminar information on the Erasmus+ programme (Erasmus+credit mobility, Erasmus+ Capacity Building Projects, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, Jean Monnet – with specific emphasis on credit mobility) as well as on the higher education systems of participating countries were provided. Networking and partner search was also facilitated.
Participants were Higher Education Institutions and Erasmus+ National Agencies from Nordic (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway – except Sweden as they have recently organized a similar contact seminar in WB) and Baltic (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) countries and HEIs and National Erasmus Offices from Western Balkans.
Meeting for the Debate was organized between Helene Skikos, Policy Officer DG Education and Culture, in European Commission and students from different Public and Private HEIs.
