Today it was submitted to the participants portal of the European Commission the project application titled “Project Management Integrating Sustainability/ PROMIS” for the Erasmus+ Call under the component of KA2 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices –Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education.
The proposed project seeks to provide qualified professionals with sustainable project management skills to match the labor market and society needs, foster region-wide sustainable project management awareness and culture and enhance regional cooperation for sustainable development of the Western Balkan Countries in line with relevant national strategies for development and EU integration.
The project includes 13 partners from Balkan Region and EU countries and 2 Associated Partners. The main beneficiaries are the HEIs from Balkan Region as follows: Epoka University as a leading institution, University “Aleksandër Moisiu” Durrës, Polis University, Polytechnic University of Tirana, Mediterranean University of Montenegro, International Burch University and University of Bihać. The EU partners include University of Graz – Austria, The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences/BOKU, Vienna, University of Luxembourg and Mother Teresa University- Macedonia. Other non HEIs partners are Ecological Club of Lezha (NGO) and Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth. While the associated partners are Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and Institute of Hydrometeorology and Seismology of Montenegro.
The project working group is leaded by the Rector of Epoka University Prof. Dr. Güngör Turan, while the working group members are Dr. Julinda Keci, Dr. Nertil Mera, Dr. Enea Mustafaraj, Dr. Erion Luga, Dr. Julian Hoxha, Mr. Esmir Demaj, Mrs. Erinda Imeraj, Mr. Erion Gjoci, Mrs. Kriselda Sulcaj and the Research and Project Office of Epoka University.
