Eight-day RRPP Research Academy came to its end on Monday, 18th of April in Sarajevo. 35 young researchers from six West Balkans countries were gaining knowledge and news skills in the field of research methods. Thirteen trainers with international experience through eight modules delivered knowledge on the most relevant aspects of research methods in social science. Mrs. Erinda Imeraj, Research Assistant at Epoka University, was one of the selected Albanian researchers.
Mr. Joseph Guntern, Swiss Cooperation Director for Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the closing ceremony said that he was more than happy to see 35 young researchers at one place who are ready to contribute to high quality researches in the Western Balkans which will improve public policies.
Mrs. Jasmina Opardija-Šušnjar, RRPP program manager congratulated the participant on the successful completion of the academy and delivered, together with Mr. Joseph Guntern, the certificates of the participants.
The Research Academy is designed as a summer school composed of several linked one-day modules. During the program of the Research Academy, junior researchers were guided through all stages of the research process, and the sessions were highly interactive and practice-oriented.
Research Academy consisted of eights modules: Introduction to Social Science Research, Methodological Approaches, Qualitative vs. Quantitative Methods, Analyzing Qualitative Data, Analyzing Quantitative Data, Reporting Research: Introduction to Academic Writing, Developing a Research Project and Communicating your Research Findings in Verbal and Visual Forms.
