On November 11, 2015, representatives from Epoka University and students participated at the “National Erasmus+ Info Day” organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Albania, in collaboration with the European Commission.
Erasmus+ is the newest educational program of the European Union that aims at modernizing educational systems and their adaptation to labor market needs and to an ever-changing world. Erasmus+ brings together under the same umbrella the seven EU previous educational programmes, facilitating the orientation of beneficiaries and participation rules.
This particular event served to promote the international higher education dimension of the “Erasmus+ Programme” and to present the opportunities offered for the Albanian Higher Education Institutions as well as individuals.
The event featured presentations on the below mentioned components of the Programme:
– International Credit Mobility
– Degree Mobility through the existing possibilities within the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, EM partnerships and ICM;
–Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education;
– Jean Monnet Programme.
In the event participated representatives from the EU Delegation in Albania, the European Commission in Brussels, Ministry of Education and Sports in Albania, National Erasmus+ Office in Albania and staff and students from several higher education institutions in Albania.
In the afternoon session a round table was organized with the contact persons of projects selected in the Erasmus+ 2015 Capacity Building in Higher Education Call. This round table was leaded by the Ms. Belen Enciso, Project Management Team for Western Balkans and Mediterranean countries, she presented some technical rules on project management of Erasmus+ program.
