Well-known journalist Rudina Xhunga, held on November 19, an Open Forum with the students of Epoka University, discussing with them issues related to her last article titled “This is not a place for girls”, and issues related to the Albanian women, their mentality and phenomena that affect their status in society.
Mrs. Rudina Xhunga stated during her discussion with students that Albanian society should react to negative phenomena, whether against women or men. Speaking about her article, she noted that the goal was not reacting to men, but to the negative phenomena. "Not every woman has the opportunity for her voice to be heard. I am a journalist, a public woman and that’s the reason I reacted writing this article. This is the first time that I am discussing with students my last article. It was a squeal to protect women and a response to negative phenomena", she said.
Mrs. Rudina Xhunga shared with students her opinion about her long career on journalism and answered the questions addressed by students. “You are a well-educated generation and I feel very good to be here with you. It was my pleasure being here and discussing with you”, she noted.
Mrs. Rudina Xhunga actually runs political show at Top Channel TV. She brings debate with the most popular political figures in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia. Also Xhunga is the author of three books: “I love you for the background", “Spoils of a tired marriage" and the last “If Ana...".
