Open Forum: Erasmus “Experience Exchange”

In the framework of the new call for applications for the exchange programmes offered by Epoka University, the International Relations Office organized an informative session on the offered programmes, with a special focus on the European Union “Erasmus+ programme”, which provides mobility scholarships for students and academic staff towards partner universities.
Students currently studying in the Bachelor, Master and PhD programs of Epoka University are eligible to benefit from the said programme.
The exchange programmes are offered in the fields of Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Architecture, Electronics and Digital Communication Engineering, Economics, Political Science and Internation Relations, Business Administration, Business-Informatics, Banking and Finance, and International Marketing and Logistics Management as well.
During this events three calls for applications were announced, respectively University of Applied Sciences Mainz - Germany, Middle East Technical University - Turkey, and Polytechnic University of Bari - Italy.
Throughout their exchange period students will be financed through the grant awarded by the European Commission.
The exchange programme at Epoka University is offered also via bilateral agreements with partner universities such as Sam Houston State University - US, Tallinn University of Technology - Estonia, Sapienza University of Rome - Italy, etc.
The event continued with the sharing of the experience of the programme beneficiaries:
Assist. Prof. Dr. Frida Pashako – Lecturer at the Department of Architecture, winner of the Erasmus+ grant, towards Polytechnic University of Bari.
Inva Nela – student of the Political Science and International Relations Department, recently returned from her exchange program at Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia
Joy Banushi – student of International Marketing and Logistics Management, winner of the Erasmus+ grant for the forthcoming semester, towards Middle East Technical University, Turkey.
Considering the fact that the students’ interest in participating in exchange programmes has continuously been increasing, Epoka University is working on broadening the network of partner unviersities with the aim of offering new opportunities to each student enrolled in one of its programms.
