On December 10, 2013 Mr. Pajtim Çenga participated at an Open Forum with Epoka University students, organized by the Future Engineers Club in corporation with Civil Engineering Department, which was focused on the professional experience of Mr. Çenga as a Civil Engineer in Albania, challenges faced everyday on field and the requirements of today’s market.
During his speech Mr. Çenga revealed his experience as a Civil Engineer from the moment he finished university till nowadays. The Engineer pointed out the necessity of having an ethical code and building according to standards, as the main advice for the young new future engineers.
“Never be a victim of pressure. As an engineer you have full responsibility for the quality of the work because sooner or later for any kind of problem that reveals the bad quality of the work done, you will be the one to pay the price in any possible way.”
Trying to tell the students that the work in an office is as much as important as the work on field he touched everyday life problems faced by any engineer even by those who work on field and by those who work in a studio.
Mr. Çenga emphasized the importance of collaboration, group work and a deep study of all the offered subjects in Bachelor period because each day an engineer faces challenges that require not only some experience, but a crucial knowledge of all the subjects related to this profession.
He also stated the importance of studying every project in details, the relation owner-architect-engineer and also the factor “TIME” as the main actor in a project.
After the speech delivered by Mr. Çenga, the session continued along with questions of the audience.
