Career Planning and Alumni Office in collaboration with Women’s Leadership Club successfully organized the Freshman Leaders program. The program with the motto “Towards a strong career” consisted of four sessions held in four different institutions. The aim of the program was to orien students towards career steps and how to fulfill the requirements for a job position in today’s market.
The first seminar was held at the premises of Epoka University by Mrs. Teuta ÜSTÜNDAĞ, assistant of the Vice Minister of Energy and Industry, the second one was at INTESA SANPAOPLO BANK by Mrs.Entela Zigori, the director of Human Resources department. Mrs. Zigori gave a very important message to students that in a work environment ‘Everybody is effective but nobody is essential’ which meant that one has to work hard and smart to maintain a job position. The third and fourth sessions were hosted by VODAFONE ALBANIA and TIRANA BUSINESS PARK respectively. These two sessions were mainly focused on how to prepare a CV, a motivation letter and how to act during a job interview. The General Manager of TBP, Ms. ANNA STADLER was mainly focused in punctuality, motivation and being real about the things written on the CV. She also advised students not to follow the typical formats of CVs, but instead to create their own format.
At the end, certificates were delivered to all students who participated at the training. Ms. STADLER and Mr. Uğur Ergün were invited to delıver the certificates to the students. This successfully implemented innovative idea was one of numerous activities that Epoka University supports in order to help students grow and get promoted in the labor market.
