In the framework of and funded by the European Commissions` Program “Erasmus+”, more precisely Key Action 1, Ing. Armando Demaj, academic staff member at the Department of Civil Engineering of Epoka University, lectured for one week at the Polytechnic University of Bari (POLIBA), in Italy.
Mr. Demaj was involved in the teaching activities addressed to first and second year students of the post-graduate study program "Scuola di Specializzazione in Beni Architettonici e del Paesaggio", in the Department of Civil Engineering Science and Architecture at POLIBA.
During this time-frame, he lectured on the deterioration problems and damages to the historic masonry structures and their structural analysis as well. During the last session, he gave a demonstration on how a masonry structure can be modeled using the well-known “StructuralProgram for Analysis and Design, SAP2000”.
