On August 25, 2015, Epoka University and the University of Salerno, in Italy, joined into a framework scientific and cultural agreement including joint and coordinated teaching and research programs. More precisely, the said activities are planned to be developed through: exchange of teachers, researchers, administrative staff and students; exchange of information, documents and scholarly publications of shared interest; and reciprocal use of the existing facilities of both the Institutions.
The University of Salerno is one of the oldest universities in Europe and internationally well-known. The University is made up of ten Faculties: Economics and Business, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Arts and Philosophy, Foreign Languages and Literatures, Medicine, Education, Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences, Political Science.
The faculties are organized into different subject areas, each offering a number of degree courses. The different departments of the University have the role of promoting and developing research.
For detailed information on the University of Salerno, please visit the following link: http://web.unisa.it/home The implementation of the said agreement has already started with the visiting scholar Prof. Mario Calabrese, whom is visiting Epoka University for one month with the aim to deepen his research in the field of sustainability and innovation and visiting student Francesco Caputo whom is visiting Epoka University with the aim to deepen the research for his PhD studies.The local coordinators for the said agreement at Epoka University are Assist. Prof. Mustafa Uç and Dr. Xhimi Hysa.
