Prof. Dr. Remzi Altin, Rector of Epoka University welcomed PhD. Tausangi Constantin, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference “Dialogue of Civilizations, PhD. Tufekci Feridun, PhD. Sirkeli Vadim and Ms. Nacioglo Natalia, PhD student from Comrat State University in Moldova.
In focus was the establishment of a constructive dialogue for improving the higher education standard in the region. In the occasion a presentation on the International Conference to be held during February 20-21, 2015 at the Comrat State University in Moldova was made. The conference addresses topics on ethics, education, freedom and responsibility in the changing world. Epoka staff and students are welcomed to get actively involved and participate.
The Comrat State University was founded on February 11, 1991. It is the successor of the Gagauz National. The University has four faculties — the Faculty of Economics, the Law Faculty, the Faculty of Agrotechnology and the Faculty of National Culture. In addition, there is an innovation centre and foreign cultural centers - German, American, British, Greek, Azerbaijan, Turkish, and Russian culture centers- which work successfully.

The Division of Social Sciences and Economics of Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Comrat University organizes the International Scientific Conference “Dialogue of Civilizations: Ethics, education, freedom and responsibility on changing the world” on February 20-21, 2015. The objective of the conference: comprehensive discussion of current philosophical problems, adoption of modern approaches in understanding the dynamics of the contemporary society, revealing the potential philosophical knowledge in the search for responses to global challenges and issues of the modern world, summarizing the views of prominent thinkers of the past and contemporary scholars of ethics and morality, education, freedom and responsibility.
Epoka University organizes ICES’15, the 5th International Conference on European Studies. ICES’15 Perspectives of Integration in the European Union: The Balkans will be held on 6th and 7th of November 2015 in Tirana, Albania. Most of the Balkan countries are experiencing a challenging EU integration process. It has been a long process including social, economic, political and many other types of reforms and areas of integration that are all within the scope of the 5th International Conference on European Studies (ICES'15). While it has been an area of research for a long time, this conference aims to promote an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas, knowledge, research, information and recommendations between scholars, professionals and students in all major subfields of political science, international relations, economy, sociology, and other related topics focusing particularly on the EU integration perspectives of the Balkan countries.
