Mr. Egin Zeka, Mr. Artemis Hasa and Mr. Endri Berberi, members of architecture department at Epoka University won the first prize in the “National Design Competition: Tourism into Tradition” for the region of Korça.
The competition was organized by the Delegation of European Union to Albania and the theme of the call was the proposal of a new Bed & Breakfast (B&B) project which considers the local architectural features. It was addressed to three regions of Albania; Korça, Shkodra & Berat/Fier, thus, for each of them was awarded the first and the second prize.
The awarding ceremony held on Saturday, 12 of May 2018 in the Bazaar of Korça, was part of the final day of European Week in Albania. The awards were delivered to the winners by the Ambassador of EU in Albania, Ms. Romana Vlahutin and the Minister of Culture, Ms. Mirela Kumbaro.
