Department of Architecture is organizing the annual intensive CAAD (Computer Aided Architectural Design) workshop for the 2nd and 3rd year architecture students at the premises of Epoka University. This workshop, starting in October 6, 2014, will last for two weeks, till October 17, 2014, and is aiming at introducing the undergraduates to the basics of digital architecture and planning with the most up-to-date 2D and 3D architectural modeling software. The goal of this activity is to enhance the performance of the students during the academic year and assist them to perform their tasks and fulfill the objectives of specific courses through digital medium.
Lecturers from the Department of Architecture of Epoka University specialized in digital architecture will be teaching during this two-week workshop, where 40 undergraduate students from 2nd and 3rd year will attend. The workshop is divided into two sessions per day. The first one is to be held between 09:00- 12:00 o’clock, where students will be taught the basics of AutoCAD in 2D modeling. While the second one will be performed during the afternoon, where 3D modeling and graphical principles will be instructed through specific modeling and graphic design software.
