In the framework of K-FORCE (a regional project funded with support from European Commission, within ERASMUS+ programme ) in EPOKA University a new Professional Master study program (1 year), entitled Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety Engineering, will be open this academic year 2018-2019. EPOKA University offers 20 scholarships for this study program which is developed according to regional needs and contemporary EU trends.

Owing to K-FORCE project, EPOKA University also enables exchange of students to study for 1 semester in project partner universities and Lectures held from international guest academics, as result of staff exchange within partner universities. Also some other additional opportunities offered by EPOKA University are:

• Creation and implementation of two Life Long Learning courses for the continuous professional development of employees and practitioners in DRM&FSE sector.
• New educational ICT-based laboratories with interoperability capabilities, for a modernized teaching and training process on novel technical and technological solutions, exploiting the ICT application and b-learning concept (adopting an ICT learning platform and online library)

Knowledge For Resilient society (K-FORCE) project, aims to improve regional resilience to hazards and capability for regional cooperation in risk prevention and response and to ensure national professional resources and regional capacities in order to build regional-based disaster preparedness and a culture of safety and resilience at all levels according to EU Integration Strategies and National relevant strategies.
